The Exploration & Production segment engages in the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas in the regions of Central and Eastern Europe... , the Middle East and Africa, the North Sea, Russia, and the Asia Pacific. The Refining & Marketing segment is involved in the refining operations; and supply of products, bio, and intermediate feedstock, as well as in the gas logistics business. This segment also engages in the natural gas supply and marketing, retail mobility and convenience, fuel sales, and marketing activities, as well as in the crude supply and trading, and commercial activities. It has 3 inland refineries in Europe; approximately 2,100 filling stations in nine European countries; and gas storage facilities in Austria and Germany. The Chemicals & Materials segment provides advanced and circular polyolefin solutions, base chemicals, and fertilizers, as well as engages in the mechanical recycling of plastics. The company was founded in 1956 and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria.
